Privacy Policy

AgentMail, Inc. (“AgentMail”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates agent.email and related domains (the “Service”), a consumer service that lets you forward or CC agent@agent.email on an email and receive an AI-generated reply. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, safeguard, and disclose information resulting from your use of agent.email. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Our Terms of Service, together with this Privacy Policy, constitute your agreement with AgentMail.

agent.email only processes an email when you choose to send it to us, by forwarding a thread to agent@agent.email or adding agent@agent.email to the To/CC line. We do not connect to, scan, or monitor your mailbox. We only ever see the specific message(s) and attachments you send to agent@agent.email.

Content you send us: the message body, subject, the quoted thread you forward, any attachments (PDFs, contracts, spreadsheets, images), and the instruction you write.

Email metadata: sender and recipient addresses, timestamps, threading headers, and your email address so we can reply.

Usage Data: IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time and date, device identifiers, and diagnostic data.

A thread you forward may contain personal information about other people. By sending that content to agent.email, you confirm you are entitled to share it with a service provider for the purpose of getting the reply you requested. We process that information only to perform the task you asked for and to generate your reply, not for any independent purpose. If you do not want us to process particular information, do not include it in what you send.

We use the content you send only to read and understand the message(s) and attachments, perform the task you asked for (summarize, draft a reply, answer a question, search the web, set a reminder, or draft a calendar invite), and reply to you. We reply only to you (the sender), never into the original thread or to other participants unless you explicitly instruct us to, and any action that leaves that private channel (such as sending a calendar invite) requires your explicit approval.

We do not use your emails, attachments, or their contents to train AI models. We also use data to maintain the Service, provide support, monitor performance, detect and prevent abuse or fraud, comply with legal obligations, and (only if you opt in) send product or marketing communications.

To generate replies, agent.email sends the content you submit to third-party AI and infrastructure providers who act as our subprocessors and are contractually restricted in how they may use the data:

• Anthropic, PBC (Claude) processes the content you send to generate AI responses.
• Infrastructure and analytics providers described on our Subprocessors page, for example AWS, Vercel, PostHog.

The content you send is stored in association with your agent.email activity so the Service can operate. We do not use that content for any purpose other than performing the task you requested and replying to you, operating and securing the Service, detecting and preventing abuse or fraud, and complying with our legal obligations. We do not use it to train AI models. We retain it for as long as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your content at any time by emailing support@agentmail.cc, except where we must retain it to comply with applicable law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period.

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside your jurisdiction, including the United States. Your use of the Service represents your agreement to that transfer. We take reasonable steps to protect your data.

We may disclose personal information to comply with law or valid requests by public authorities, to service providers and subprocessors who support the Service, to fulfill the purpose for which you provided it, or with your consent.

No method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your Personal Data, and to withdraw consent. Email support@agentmail.cc to exercise these rights. You may also complain to your local Data Protection Authority.

California residents may request disclosure, deletion, and confirmation that their data is not sold. You can visit the Service anonymously and change or delete your information by emailing support@agentmail.cc. We do not sell your Personal Data.

agent.email is intended for individuals 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18.

agent.email does not require an account. By sending an email to agent@agent.email, you agree to the Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not send email to agent@agent.email.
